An online forum for MAPP communities
Thursday, December 5th from 2:00 -- 3:30pm EST
Food choices are often shaped by policies that originate outside the health sector and require significant cross-sectoral collaboration. The purpose of this webinar is to highlight how health departments working in partnership with other sectors, such as agriculture, education and transportation, can create healthier food policy and programs. The speakers will present promising approaches to achieving two specific food policy goals—improving school nutrition and reducing food contamination during transport.
This webinar will be of interest to public health, agriculture and education leaders, managers and practitioners interested in creating collaborative partnerships to improve nutrition environments and food safety.
