The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) will be conducting an Adaptive Leadership Core Concepts training at NACCHO Annual in Pittsburgh, PA on July 10th - 11th. This 1.5 day in person training is intended for public health professionals to introduce the Adaptive Leadership concepts and applications.
Adaptive Leadership Framework
Adaptive Leadership is a practical leadership framework that helps individuals and organizations adapt and thrive in challenging environments. It increases the ability, both individually and collectively, to take on the gradual but meaningful process of change. Watch this Adaptive Leadership video, which explores applications in the rapidly changing public health environment. This framework is well established and is used widely in nonprofit and for profit settings, including notable clients such as the White House, HHS, Google and Microsoft.
The activities and sessions will help participants make progress on a real life leadership challenge they are facing in the workplace. The training provides tools and resources that can be used back in the field. NACCHO is offering this training at a reduced fee of $125 due to generous support from the Health Resources and Services Administration. Participants from any organization are welcome! Please note that participants will be responsible for covering their own travel costs, including transportation and hotel.
