HHS Releases National Strategy for Quality Improvement in Health Care

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) today released the National Strategy for Quality Improvement in Health Care (National Quality Strategy). The Public Health Accreditation Board's (PHAB's) beta test of the national voluntary accreditation program was comprised of 30 state, local and Tribal health departments, testing the draft standards and measures and accreditation process.
